Conditions of Entry

WARNING: USE OF THIS FACILITY MAY BE HAZARDOUS; IT MAY RESULT IN INJURY OR DEATH TO THE PERSON, AND/OR PROPERTY LOSS OR DAMAGE. USERS PARTICIPATING AND SPECTATORS VIEWING THESE ACTIVITIES DO SO AT THEIR OWN RISK.

To the extent permitted by law, Tamworth Mountain Bikers Inc, Tamworth Regional Council, and the NSW Department of Land and Property Management Authority excludes all liability, including but not limited to liability for personal injury, death, property damage, property loss, and consequent loss or damage of any kind arising from the use of and/or entry to Tamworth Mountain Bike Park, whether in contract, by negligent act or omission, or any other tortuous action. Please take reasonable care for your safety and observe the prohibition, warning and informative signage. Riders use the Park and Tracks at their own risk.

Conditions of Entry

• Use the facilites in a safe manner:
  • Ride within your ability - if you are not sure, DO NOT RIDE IT!
  • All riders must wear an Australian Standards approved bike helmet.
  • All riders are strongly encouraged to wear gloves, suitable clothing, and enclosed footwear.
  • Please make sure your bike is in good working order and is suitable for the grade of trail you choose to ride.
• This is a bike specfic park
  • Pedestrians should give way to cyclists.
  • Cyclists please communicate clearly to pedestrians.
• Mountain Bikes must be ridden only on approved signed trails in the set anticlockwise direction - follow the arrows and stay on track please.
• No riding of trails when wet under any circumstances - our clay based trails are extremely unstable in the wet and will suffer significant damage if used.
• Respect all flora and fauna (users must yield to resident horses).
• Vehicles are not permitted to be driven off road unless approved.
• The lighting of fires is not permitted without a permit and venue management approval.
• No bins are provided; please take your rubbish home.
• No motorised activities permitted in the park, including remote controlled devices.
• Building of new trails or Technical Trail Features is prohibited without approval by the venue management. If you have any good ideas please contact management as we are a community facility and value community input.
• Children must be supervised at all times by an accompanying adult.
• This park is all about getting out, getting active and having fun - please enjoy our park and encourage others to do so.
